The 12V Chainsaw comes with two powerful 2.5Ah lithium-ion batteries. On a full charge, you can expect:

• Battery life will vary based on the intensity of use but can easily handle small to medium cutting tasks. Without stopping the chain, you will get a minimum of 20 minutes continuous use
• If you need more run time, extra batteries are always available

Is the Mobishear 12V Chainsaw suitable for large-scale gardening or landscaping?

Yes, the 12V Chainsaw is ideal for both small and large-scale gardening. We class the chainsaw as semi-professional. They are built to last and will keep going where lighter domestic tools might fail.

Why are your tools more expensive?

• This is a question we get a lot. So let’s answer it! We understand there are lots of cheap tools available online that all look very similar. While tempting, these are often lower quality tools made to look just like their higher quality competitors. There are also over-runs (excess production left over at the end of a production run) these may be OK quality, but are sold by opportunistic sellers who do not invest in customer support or spare parts. Many of these are not Australian compliant and may leave you exposed if something should go wrong.
• Mobishear is an Australian business. We employ Australians, and all our products are Australian compliant. When you call or email us, you will be speaking to a local expert, not a call centre.
• Our products and spare parts are stored & shipped locally. We do not drop ship.
• Our tools are made specifically for us. We have a long standing relationship with our manufacturer and they produce our tools to the exact specifications we ask for. We always specify the highest quality components, even when much cheaper ones are available.
• Our battery cells are the highest quality we can find. Battery cells vary a lot and can be very cheap and unreliable. We always choose quality and reliability over price.
• Our quality control is exhaustive. We do not leave quality control to the manufacturer and hope for the best. We have all our production checked by German quality control company TUV to ensure our specifications are being met at the factory. Once our stock arrives in Australia every individual unit is checked before being cleared for sale.
• We carry spare parts for everything. All our tools have spare parts to back them up stored at our main depot. This is a huge investment that we make to ensure we can look after you well into the future.
