WE ARE ARND & HEIDI ENNEKING

We are sheep farmers from Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

Our goal as farmers is to forge a mutually profitable partnership between us and our farm. In pursuit of this goal, we face – and overcome – the daily challenges that come with a life in agriculture. There are never enough hours in a day, so anything that makes the job more efficient is a sound investment.

Out of this life was born the desire to bring the best solutions to other Aussie livestock farmers, orchardists, vignerons and gardeners. So we started Mobishear Australia. 

From humble beginnings on our South Australian farm, Mobishear is now an Australia-wide business with customers and retailers in every state, We live and breathe Australian agriculture.

Mobishear lets us use our farming know-how and years of experience in the field to identify problems, source the best solution and then adapt it to suit Australia’s unique environment. We also love the fact that we still run our farm – keeping an ear to the ground in our industry. This, and listening closely to customer feedback, keeps us always on the cutting edge of agricultural innovation.

At Mobishear Australia we are all about agriculture – unplugged.

By taking the tools farmers use every day and adding rechargeable lithium batteries we are changing the face of Aussie agriculture. Our Shearing Handpiece, pruning snips, cattle grooming and horse grooming clippers are 100% Cordless and designed to handle farm life.

These totally cordless power tools are ridiculously convenient and easy to use. But they are also safer than conventional tools because there’s no cord for you or your animals to get tangled in – and that’s always a win.

But we know that’s not enough. All of our tools have been developed and tested on our own farm in country South Australia to make sure they can stand up to a full day’s work. This means robust construction, definitely. But it also means designing tools that make long days out in the field easier. It means tools that are comfortable to use and stay cool. It means providing more than one lithium battery so you can work all day. And it means simple maintenance and storage so you can get on with other things.

INNOVATION

As experienced and passionate farmers, innovation on the land is something we know a lot about. We have faced and found the solutions to countless challenges. Now, as Mobishear Australia we are working to bring these solutions to our fellow farmers.

One challenge that came up time and again on our Eyre Peninsula farm was needing to crutch sheep in the paddock or yards. Dragging valuable livestock to the motorbike or ute and using a cumbersome, corded 12V shearing handpiece turned a routine task into an ordeal.

It was this need to find a better way that led to the introduction of the Mobishear 100% Cordless Shearing Handpiece. Designed to withstand Australian farming conditions, it is tough but light and absolutely the best shearing handpiece in its class.

Great! But as proud members of the South Australian farming community, we were aware of other challenges being faced by primary producers. So we kept on innovating.

This led to the introduction of our 100% Cordless Secateurs, Horse & Cattle Clippers and Foot Parers. Just like the shearing handpiece, these products are powerful, portable and rechargeable. Now there is a cordless solution for every farm.

But we haven’t stopped there. We were being asked by gardeners for a 100% Cordless solution to suit their needs and budget. So we created the 12V Gardener’s Kit and the Gardener’s Special 25mm Secateur. These products make professional-quality pruning and cutting equipment available to the home gardener for the very first time.

Now that’s 100% innovation.
